AUSTimber 2012 Forestworks Conference
AUSTimber 2012 will open with the conference 'Precision Forestry in Action' held in the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre, Mount Gambier on Thursday 29 March 2012. The AUSTimber ForestWorks Conference is convened by the Institute of Foresters of Australia and the Australian Forest Contractors Association.
The Precision Forestry in Action conference will be a hard-hitting, one day conference focussing on the implementation and benefits of precision forestry. The speakers have been chosen to provide real examples of the application of precision forestry methods in the forest industry, both in Australia and internationally. The session themes and the topics within those themes have been developed to foster controversial discussion, which may challenge conventional thinking on the use of precision forestry. |
